Bateleur Mating Ritual
Species: Male Bateleur | Location: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
This colorful Bateleur was sitting in a tree in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. All of a sudden he opened his wings in full mating plumage to attract a mate in his mating ritual. He sat on the limb for several minutes, turning side to side to fully show his attributes for all the females to admire.
