Species: Polar Bear | Location: Tundra Around Churchill, Canada
We were fortunate to have stayed on the Tundra rather than in town as the bears were around our Tundra train 24/7. The tundra is a desolate and relatively barren site, made more so in autumn when the haze is deepened by the constant evaporation from Hudson's bay. We were fortunate to capture this scene of a mother bear and her yearling cub wandering by our viewing platform.
