Species: Puffin | Location: Dyrholaey Peninsula, Iceland
While visiting Dyrholaey Peninsula, we were blessed with the most gorgeous weather and dozens of puffins bopping about the hillside. I was drawn to this one in particular, still and quiet overlooking the sea despite the flurry of activity from his friends behind him. I like to think he was contemplating the tale of the three trolls frozen at sunrise off of Reynisfjara beach behind him.
