Species: Grizzly Bear | Location: British Columbia Great Bear Rainforest, Canada
A mother grizzly attempted to teach her cub the art of salmon fishing. The mother submerged herself up to her neck as she easily caught her fill of fish. The cub, however, was reluctant to go in the water. Despite the mother's demonstrations and nudging her cub towards the water with her head, the cub refused to go in. In this photo, the cub observes intently from the safety of higher, dry ground.
