Species: Lilac Breasted Roller | Location: Linyanti, Botswana
The lilac-breasted roller (lbr) is my personal favorite and while the bee-eaters are lovely I think the LBR is the most spectacular. In flight one is stunned by its black-edged turquoise wings. It is Kenya's national bird and it has around 8 colors: green, white, black, yellow, turquoise, dark blue, reddish-brown, and lilac.
