Species: Polar Bear | Location: Manitoba, Churchill , Canada
We were fortunate enough to come upon polar bears converging in an area where a seal had been previously killed and the remains buried. A female with three cubs had just dug in the snow after following the scent of the blood. Unfortunately, on her way back across the ice field she saw a male coming towards her, and we all held our collective breath!
