We saw several Polar Bears the first full-day, but all were somewhat too far to photograph successfully. About mid-afternoon a polar bear came walking from the distance, eventually providing a great opportunity for photography. I especially liked the composition because the bear walked along stones on sheets of ice and snow that continued beyond the subject into the distance.
