Species: Panthera Tigris Bengal Tiger | Location: Bandhavgarh National Park, India
While on NatHab's Grand India Wildlife Adventure in March 2019 a group of safari vehicles were jockeying for position above a ravine. There was a tigress at the bottom periodically drinking from, I think, a stream. I could not see her unless I leaned way out of the vehicle and she occasionally lifted her head. Our guide knew her and told us she was probably blinded by another tiger. However, even with such a terrible injury, she was still able to care for her two cubs, which we could not see.
