Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill, Manitoba, Canada
During my second trip to Churchill, Manitoba, this Polar Bear came close to the Polar Rover (as many Polar Bears will do out of curiosity) and stared into my camera for a considerable amount of time. This resulted in a nice portrait. Because of the detail I was able to get on the face and any markings, I compared the photo of this Polar Bear with those I photographed during my first trip to Churchill , and believe I could have photographed the same bear two years earlier.
