Species: Reed Frog | Location: Okavango Delta , Botswana
When we are out in the Okavango Delta in the mokoro canoes, I observe that most people are looking at the magnificent view, the birds, the elephants etc…, however, I travel w a jewelers loupe and equally have my focus down low! I’m looking in the water, at the insects, small flowers, amphibians, you name it!
I believe this photo shows the amazing biodiversity of the Okavango Delta! This Reed Frog is one of 33 Amphibians in the Delta that supports life for other species and people on this planet! One mighty frog!
All creatures great and small are critical to the health of the planet.
