Species: Pride Of Lions | Location: Botswana, Botswana
Found four lions on the hunt during afternoon drive at Camp Santiwani. One limping lion trailed the line, holding the rear as one sauntered ahead toward the front. The middle two marched on till like a bolt of lightning they flushed out an impala which ran straight into the jaws of the lion at the front. I scarcely realized what transpired. It was so quick.
About The Photographer
Hi! I’m Patricia Baker. I’m not a photographer. I simply stand amazed at all of God’s creation. I use a Canon Sureshot 50x magnification or my Apple iPhone 13. I aim and click to capture all the beautiful landscapes, diverse nature, and fascinating people and cultures I’ve observed in the hopes of recalling glimpses of all the magnificent experiences I have been privileged to enjoy when I am confined to the beauty within the confines of my own home. I also hope to use my picture memories to create mini watercolor pencil sketches of the spectacular Nat Hab adventures I have enjoyed with my husband. Thank you Nat Hab team and traveling partners for creating all the beautiful memories I treasure immensely.Vote for this photo in the Nat Hab's 2024 Guest Photo Contest People’s Choice Awards! You can vote once per day, and each time you vote you’ll be entered for the chance to win a $500 Visa Gift Card or a $500 WWF Donation.
