Location: Isabela Island, Galapagos Islands, Equador, Ecuador
Isabela in the Galapagos Islands, photographed at sunrise. The clouds appear to be rising out of the caldera of the island's Sierra Negra Volcano. Its caldera is considered to be the second largest in the world (10 km x 9 km). The photo was taken from our expedition boat, while cruising the Galapagos.
