Species: Monarch Butterfly | Location: El Rosario Sanctuary , Mexico
When you walk in the forest to see the monarchs, it quiet. At first I didnt realize it the Oyamel fir tree trunk were covered with Monarch butterflies. the wings were closed , i thought the tree had really rough bark. Then the sun came out, the sky is filled with Monarchs- It was magical, people were overwhelm with joy from the beauty and wonder. . Then the clouds come back and monarch go back to roost in the trees.
