Species: Polar Bear And Red Fox | Location: Churchill Wildlife Management Area, Canada
We watched for several minutes as this red fox wandered closer and closer to the polar bear resting on the tundra, wondering if the bear would notice or respond to the presence of the fox. I snapped this image just as the two seemed to be nose to nose, and the bear never moved. A good telephoto lens and a steady hand always helps.
