Pacific Loon Near Nest Site
Species: Pacific Loon | Location: Churchill, Manitoba, Canada
A pair of Pacific Loons nested at Churchill, Manitoba, in 2023 when we visited on a Nat Hab tour to view Beluga Whales. We saw both parents and a recently-hatched chick. This photo shows one of the adults, probably the male, since the female stayed close to the nest and her baby.
