Location: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
On our afternoon drive we watched many elephants by the water hole, taking mud baths, etc. As the sun began to set, they started on their way to wherever they go at night. I love African sunsets so I'm always taking pictures. This one happened to capture the elephants as they moved into the trees for the evening.
About The Photographer
I am truly an amateur photographer. I love taking pictures on our adventures of nature, scenery and wildlife. I honestly only take pictures while on vacation, so I'm always hoping to get some good shots. I've been fortunate in our travels with Nat Hab to have amazing guides who are so willing to help with camera settings. I can honestly say, I've learned a lot.Vote for this photo in the Nat Hab's 2024 Guest Photo Contest People’s Choice Awards! You can vote once per day, and each time you vote you’ll be entered for the chance to win a $500 Visa Gift Card or a $500 WWF Donation.
