Species: Brown Bear | Location: Lake Clark National Park Bear Camp In Alaska, United States Of America
Bears are my favorite!!...so the trip to NatHab's Lake Clark Bear Camp in July 2023 was really special. As our group took an afternoon beach walk along the lake's shoreline, I saw this bear higher up on the bank enjoying a little "alone time." I got several shots of it rolling around on the sand - with all four legs up in the air - which was so fun to watch. So joyous! It then stopped and popped its head up and looked into the distance - as if it was contemplating the mysteries of the universe. It was probably only thinking it was time to get going and get some food, but we'll never know, will we?
