Mud Glorious Mud
Species: Elephant | Location: Linkwasha Camp, Zimbabwe
While on my first African safari with NatHab, we saw elephants mud bathing at a pond with little ones. They love mud. Irresistible! I fell in love with this image even though it didn't do well in camera club competitions which have some specific biases (as do I). Their loss from my standpoint. See what you think.
To bring out the baby, I had to do a good amount of dodging and burning but it was a labor of love.
