Elephant Tough
Species: Namibian Desert Elephant | Location: Palmwag Concession, Skeleton Coast, Namibia
By Ronald Lake
Munching on a small branch like we might use a toothpick, this tough character seemed to regard the fallen trees as no obstacle.
About The Photographer
Largely self-taught, I became an avid amateur photographer as a result of visiting Madagascar in 2007, which led me to publish a photo book: "Glimpses of Madagascar: Lemurs and Landscapes, People and Places". The book went on to become a featured selection in the Annual Holiday Book Guide of Outdoor Photography magazine. As a result, I contracted a serious case of The Travel Photography Bug. For me, photography is a form of insight, which aims to reveal essential facets of human experience and the world around us.
