Species: Bengal Tiger | Location: Ranthambore National Park, India
On our 2nd game drive in the park, we were the 1st jeep in our zone when our time game. Our drive and guide immediately headed to watering hole where some tigers were seen earlier in the day. We quickly found a pair of these solitary creatures alone by the watering hole. We watched their courtship for well over half an hour before they wander over the hill together. This was one of hundreds of images we captured of the pair. We had lots of time to experiment with different compositions and settings. This was one of my favorites, not because it was an awesome image of tigers (it certainly isn't) but because I caught the blurry images of not only my wife trying to capture an image, but also our guide snapping one on his phone, with the tigers remarkable close to us. They were so wrapped up with each other they totally ignored the 4 or 5 jeeps of people just meters away.
This image was post processed in Lightroom classic to adjust exposure and straighten slightly.
