Species: Bengal Tiger | Location: Ranthambore National Park, India
Just as our 3rd game drive in the park was coming to a close, we came across this tiger crossing the road. This was our 5th and final tiger of the entire trip. She paused just long enough for me to capture this image with another jeep in the background before proceeding with her day. We, and the other jeep, followed her at a discrete distance so as not to disturb her for maybe another 10 minutes before she disappeared into the forest. While other tigers had gotten closer to us earlier, I love the slightly out of focus and anonymous people in the other jeep capturing some of the feeling of being on safari.
The image was captured in raw and slightly processed in Adobe Lightroom classic to adjust expose and contrast, and a slight crop was applied - even at 400mm the tiger was still a fair distance away.
