Species: Atlantic Puffin | Location: Handa Island, United Kingdom Of Great Britain And Northern Ireland
This shot was taken at the edge of a cliff atop of Handa Island on the July 2017 NatHab wildlife tour of the Scottish Highlands. The blue background is the Atlantic Ocean with a 400 foot vertical drop. The strong wind was blowing out to sea, so I had to stand back about 10 feet from the edge in case the wind knocked me off of my feet.
