Rock Hudson Bear
Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill Manitoba, Canada
On my first polar rover tour we quickly came across this unusual bear sighting. The early morning sunlight was perfect and the bear was very cooperative. The boulder hill the bear was on is at the edge of the Hudson Bay.
About The Photographer
I have a BFA in fine arts/advertising. I co-owned an advertising agency for over 25 years in the Atlanta Georgia area. I retired about 8 years ago to be able to travel and explore the world and see some spectacular sights with my wife. We've been from the northernmost Svalbard, Norway to the southernmost Antartica with stops at many countries in between. With 4 trips a year I am kept pretty busy reviewing many thousands of photographs I've taken. The photos I've submitted are from some of our amazing adventures with National Habitat Adventures and are truly "fotostoremember"!
