Golden Hour
Species: Arctic Fox | Location: Modrudalur, Iceland
While circling the land of fire and ice, one of my favorite homes away from home was the peaceful, remote, and stunning Fjalladyrd Guesthouse tucked in the highlands. Clearly it’s not only my favorite, but also the favorite of a few orphan arctic foxes pups who have taken up residence there. I snapped this photo in the sunrise hours on my way to breakfast as the foxes were beginning to stir and play amongst the grasses and flowers in the field near the cafe.
