Species: Desert Dwelling Elephants | Location: Hoanib Valley, Namibia
Desert Elephants are so very majestic and this family was no exception. Driving through the Hoanib Valley, our guide brought us to a stopping point just this side of the mountains and the view was spectacular. All ages and sizes, but even the babies were huge. This little one was doing an amazing job at keeping up and they were very patient to wait. Once they made it past us, they looked back as if to say welcome! What an amazing experience and a true connection to the natural world.
