Location: Hoanib Valley, Namibia
We spent several hours with this tribe, learning about daily life and how important family is to them. The Hoanib Valley is full of beautiful people with such humble ways of life. The intricate patterns and jewelry along with the beautiful smiles were heart warming. They took such pride in their appearance, making sure everything was just right for their visitors and answering all of our questions with the help of our local guide. At first, they were a bit shy, but warmed up to us quickly and their eyes lit up when talking about their culture. There were several children there as well and they seemed to really love the visitors.
