Species: Owl Monkey | Location: La Selva, Ecuador
On a NatHab extension trip to La Selva in the Upper Amazon jungle region of Ecuador we experienced numerous hikes in the jungle and opportunities to see the jungle at various times of the day and night. Along with enjoying the singing of the various frogs and enjoying the vast number of bird species another treat was the various monkeys. The sound of the Howler Monkey is unforgettable as is the inquisitive look of these two baby Owl Monkeys looking down at us from their safe space.
