Three cheetah cubs eyeing the savannah, perhaps searching for future hunting opportunities. I took several photos of them and their mother, who was just behind the tree when this picture was taken. The cubs were sitting in the shade, finishing a meal from their recent kill. They were still breathing very heavily, and the partial leg of a Thompson's gazelle could be seen in front of the cub on the right.
