Ever Vigilant!
Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill, Manitoba, Canada
Just as the sun was about to sink below the horizon, we came across this mother with two young cubs. At first, the cubs were just sleeping with their heads buried into their mother's warm coat. Something sparked all three of them to look up and show us their sweet faces. I imagined what a long cold night this young family would have to endure!
