Flinders Chase Post Fire
Location: Flinders Chase Park, Kangaroo Island, Australia
On a 2022 Nat Hab Great Ocean Road/Tasmania trip, we had a wonderful visit to marvelous Kangaroo Island. There, we were taken to Flinders Chase Park. We were struck by the incredible resilience of the people, the plants, and the animals in the aftermath of the terrible fires several years previously. The contrast of the burned shrubs and lush flowers with the ocean backdrop was stunning.
