Species: Ursus Maritimus/Polar Bear | Location: Churchill Wildlife Management Area, Canada
I was in the back of a Tundra Buggy in Churchill and everyone was photographing a bear on the left side of the vehicle. I had taken a few photos and moved out of the way to the other side, when I glanced over the edge, and found this fellow emerging from under the vehicle. He looked surprised to see me, I think he was trying to sneak away. Since no one else saw him, we maintained eye contact for a few minutes, before he turned away. It was a special moment.
