Poised To Sound The Alarm!
Species: Black Capped Donacobius (Car Alarm Bird) | Location: Peruvian Amazon, Peru
This pair of Black-capped donacobius was spotted in the foliage by the banks of an Amazon tributary while gliding along in a skiff. Soon after I pointed my telephoto lens at them, we heard it - the sound of a car alarm!
