Splendor In The Grass
Species: Leopard | Location: Maasai Mara, Kenya
We were on the hunt for hours looking for the elusive leopard. At long last, we saw the tip of a tail moving in the grass. It was quite a ways off, so we grabbed our binoculars, waited and kept our eyes pealed. Finally, our reward! For a few short seconds this beautiful animal stopped, stood up, looked around (barely giving me time to snap this shot) and then headed off, permanently out of sight. Score!
