Species: African Leopard | Location: Natural Habitat Migration Camp, Tanzania, United Republic Of
We spotted this leopard early in the day. He was lazily sleeping in this tree. Our guide, Ken, promised we would come back later in the day hopefully to see him climb down and go hunting. We waited, and waited, AND waited. Just when there was barely enough light for a photo, he stretched and looked straight at us. What I love about this photo the most is his glowing coat against the navy blue sky.
