Species: Coquerel's Sifaka | Location: Anjajavy Private Reserve Grounds, Madagascar
There was a wonderful opportunity to photograph wild life in the grounds of the Lodge. In the afternoon refreshments are served at a location strategically placed to observe brown lemurs and Coquerel's Sifakas as well as several different bird species. Photography is possible while sitting in arm chairs that are provided near the trees where the lemurs and sifakas feed. A baby Sifaka was seen clinging to its mother trying to snatch some food or climbing on top of the adult. I was fortunate to capture mother and baby looking in the same direction sitting not too high in the tree.
