Species: Lilac Breasted Roller | Location: Gomati Camp, Botswana
We were on our way from Gomati Camp to see a pack of endangered African wild dogs when we passed this lilac-breasted roller sitting on a branch in an acacia bush near our vehicle. While he was looking for his next meal we stopped and took advantage of the opportunity to record his stunning plumage which showcased vibrant colors which we found to be captivating.
