Species: Cheetah | Location: Gomati Camp, Botswana
Leaving Gomati Camp, we came upon a quartet of cheetah brothers just as they were awaking from their mid-day siesta. After a bit of stretching, they began moving out in preparation for their evening hunt. As we followed at a distance, they passed a large tree. Each of the four brothers picked a side and backed up to the tree, marking their territory. Having established their claim, they then continued on the hunt.
