Species: Lion | Location: Gomati Camp, Botswana
Leaving Gomati Camp on an evening game drive, we came upon a pride of lions with several cubs. They had just awakened from their mid-day rest and the cubs were play-fighting when the activities of the cubs got a little too close to Mom. We were able to witness the mother lion having a heart-to-heart discussion with one of her cubs.
