This Wolf returned by itself to a Bison that had been taken down by the pack earlier to search for some remaining scraps. Competing with hungry Ravens, it displayed its dominance by growling and showing its teeth to scare them away. The photograph was taken in the afternoon along the West entrance road in Yellowstone on a Natural Habitat Winter Wolf and Wildlife Safari.
