Species: Lion | Location: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
On our last morning in Hwange National Park, our guides gave us a choice: rise early, get packed, and go on an early morning game drive to the landing strip or sleep in and have a leisurely breakfast. Half the group chose the former and the other half later regretted their choice. We came across these mating lions and stayed with them for almost an hour. It was quite an education.
