Location: Serengeti Plains, Kenya
We were approached by a group of elephants on their way to a watering hole. Baby leads as baby is quite thirsty but is under the close protection of its mother. Mother had to reach into the watering hole to take some water to feed her baby. After a herd of fifteen or more elephants had their fill they left the way they came. It was wonderful to see them all so protective of the youngest ones in their herd as they pass just inches away from our vehicles.
