Congenial Baby
Location: Virunga Mountains Region, Rwanda
This baby gorilla was trying very hard to make physical contact with us but was warned not to by our guide. Then this little gorilla tried to outsmart us all by climbing a bamboo stem and was innocently swinging around and around, until he/she finally extended his/her arm to touch us... The baby caught us all off guard, and almost did touch us but we reluctantly jumped back in time. Mom was watching! We all had a laugh. This baby exemplified the curiosity, intelligence and congeniality of a human. It was an unforgettable moment.
