Species: Bengal Tiger | Location: Ranthambore, India
Photo is from a Tiger Quest trip to Ranthambore tiger reserve in India in April 2024. We were fortunate to come across mom and two of her cubs on a recent sambar deer kill that they were working on in rather dense brush. This photo was when one of the cubs walked across the road to get a drink from a nearby pond and on the way back to the deer turned and looked right at us.
