Majestic Silverback

This amazing silverback mountain gorilla in Rwanda ignored the distance we visitors were supposed to be from him as he made his way right by us to meet up with the rest of his browsing group.
About The Photographer
I am a retired educator, having spent 36 years as a middle school teacher and principal in several communities west of Boston. My passions are travel and photography. Starting in 1990 with the first of our many trips to Africa, I began to record images of the natural world. My husband and I have enjoyed 9 adventures with NatHab and 4 with Lindblad/NatGeo.
