Species: Big Horn Sheep | Location: Yellowstone National Park, United States Of America
On our last day in Yellowstone, we moved from the beautiful deep snow to an area where most of the snow had melted. The exposed foliage allowed for many animals, including the Big Horn Sheep, to easily graze. Off to one side was a group of male Big Horn Sheep huddled together as if having a secret discussion. This was my first time seeing them in a group this way and I had to capture the moment. You can see the strength in their bodies and the markings on their horns from many fights.
