Nat Hab's 2024 Guest Photo Contest

Big Horn Sheep, Yellowstone National Park, United States Of America
Big Horn Huddle In Yellowstone

Species: Big Horn Sheep | Location: Yellowstone National Park, United States Of America

On our last day in Yellowstone, we moved from the beautiful deep snow to an area where most of the snow had melted. The exposed foliage allowed for many animals, including the Big Horn Sheep, to easily graze. Off to one side was a group of male Big Horn Sheep huddled together as if having a secret discussion. This was my first time seeing them in a group this way and I had to capture the moment. You can see the strength in their bodies and the markings on their horns from many fights.

About The Photographer

My passion for travel and wildlife has taken me on three trips with Natural Habitat Adventures. I love to capture moments with photography that years later can bring back the memories and emotions of the moment. I enjoy sharing my pictures with family and friends along with the stories. I have been on three trips with Natural Habitat Adventures so far and each set of pictures is a treasured set of memories for me.
