Great Frigatebird, Isla Genovesa In The Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
Genovesa Great Frigatebird

Species: Great Frigatebird | Location: Isla Genovesa In The Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

The male Great Frigatebird inflates its gular sac to attract females during courtship. Once a match is made and the nest is built, the gular sac deflates. I love how this photo captures the beautiful green feathers on this spectacular bird's back.
