Location: Kulala Wilderness Reserve, Namibia
Abner Simeon, our amazing Nat Had guide, took us ballooning in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve on Nat Hab's Namibia photography trip. In this picture one of our group surveys the Naukluft Mountains closer by (and near our camp) and the brilliant red dunes of the Namib in the distance. Our expert balloon pilot afforded us fine views although he did explain we would not be going over the dunes themselves (because how would anyone recover us not to mention the balloons from there?). This trip had so many photographic opportunities it was remarkable. From the Namib, to the Hoanib River to the Skeleton Coast and Ethosha, all as wild as imaginable. And we didn't miss a thing due to the work of Abner and our capable guides, special shout out to Moses and Simon at Hoanib and Kulala respectively..
