Species: Hermit Crab | Location: Punta Banco, Costa Rica
Taken on the Costa Rica Wilderness Explorer trip in March 2024... a hermit crab blazes its own trail over the mini-sand dunes on a secluded beach. There were dozens of hermit crabs crawling everywhere, as shown by the many tracks. Even the smallest of creatures leaves its own unique mark on the world!
