Primal Affection
Species: Mountain Gorilla | Location: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda
By Ching Mai Yu
Observing a family of wild gorillas within arm’s reach is an exhilarating experience. Peering into the soul of an affectionate mother caring for its defenseless newborn is a moment that feels fundamentally primal yet oddly familiar.
