Location: Punta Cormorant On Isla Floreana In The Galapagos, Ecuador
Day three of our Galapagos Tour started early when we rode the Pangas (rubber boats) to Punta Cormorant on the Island of Floreana to see if we could find a sea turtle laying eggs on the beach. The hike from our landing point to the beach on the opposite side of the island offered a beautiful view as the sun was rising. By the way, we did get to see a sea turtle digging a next in preparation for egg laying.
